content1What do you know about content marketing?

It is something we have used for years as businesses, but only more recently has it attracted it’s own title.

We have always used stories in order to explain how a product may work or how a service we offer has benefited other businesses, in the hope of persuading prospects to buy our products or services.

Nowadays, because of the information that is made available via social media and the internet, our customers are taking a different route towards us…

They set out to find out how we are performing, how effective our products are and how valuable is our advice to others.

They go to trip advisor to get opinions from others, they look at videos on youtube to see our products in action. Nothing is hidden and no one can control what others are saying about us.

Well, that is not strictly true.

Protecting your Online Reputation

WE are in control of what others may say – and we do it by getting our offering right, and fulfilling what we have promised to our customers.

If we get that right, we have the opportunity to spread the word – straight from the customer’s mouth, so to speak – Effectively protecting our business reputation.

This is good positive and very authentic content which when seen, can influence our prospective customers – before they even speak with us.

Better still, if we can get others to make these positive statements about us – that can have an incredible effect on our business.

Search engines like Google monitor popularity of our websites, by looking at how many articles are shared on social media and this affects your ‘Page rank’.

So getting your content marketing strategy is one of the most valuable things you can do to enhance your communication and reputation.
